Journal Entry:

Vancouver is a waterfront city set against a mountain backdrop. Urban life embraces its natural setting here and Vancouver’s many parks are proof of this.

David Lam Park displays intriguing sculptures along the waterfront.

In the heart of Vancouver, against a city landscape, you will find Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. It offers peace and tranquility and is the first of its kind outside of China.

Take the Aquabus over to Granville Island Public Market where there is so much to see and eat.

Also located along Vancouver’s waterfront is the award winning Vancouver Convention Centre which offers more interesting sculptures and views of float planes. The Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre is located on the north end of the West building and offers daily flights to coastal communities in the Pacific Northwest.
